Melissa Ward
My name is Melissa Ward and I am thrilled to be a part of Abounding
Love Preschool.
I grew up in the Milwaukee area my entire life until I moved to
Mankato, MN for college. I graduated from Minnesota State
University, Mankato with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood
Education. After graduation my husband, Josh, and myself moved to
Lee’s Summit to be closer to his family.
We have three year old twin girls, Lillian and Claire, who
cannot be more excited about attending Abounding Love this school
year.
After moving to Lee’s Summit, I found a job teaching a private
kindergarten class at Primrose School of Lakewood. Sadly, in
November 2009 the school closed, but it gave me the opportunity to
stay home with my girls. The past two school years I have been
blessed with the chance to stay home with Lillian and Claire and
also care for two other little boys during the day.
I am excited to start this new adventure at Abounding Love
Preschool. I look forward to meeting and building a relationship
with all of your children and helping them grow developmentally
and with their love for God.

Nancy Acton |
Let’s learn, play, explore and have FUN!
Hello, I'm Nancy Acton and I'm so excited and eager
to be teaching and working with your child here at Abounding
Love Preschool. I
enjoy working with children; talking to them and watching
them grow and learn. They are such amazing and interesting
little people.
That’s why I have worked with children for 10 years
at Lil' Sprout Kids Day Out in Greenwood until they closed
and have loved working here the past year as the Assistant
in the 2 years old class.
I held multiple positions including, Asst. Director,
PE teacher and teaching 2’s.
I have directed VBS twice and taught many years of
Sunday School.
My husband, Jared, and I live in Lee’s Summit.
We’ve been married almost 28 years and have 2 sons,
Bryce, who is attending college at MO S&T in Rolla, MO and
Blake who is graduating this year from Lee’s Summit North
High. We have a
strong faith in God and attend Abundant Life Baptist Church.
I love to do any activity involving my family whether
it’s vacation, eating out or taking our cute Cocker Spaniel,
Kirby, for a walk. I
enjoy traveling, walking, gardening and most important,
chocolate and Mexican food.

My name is Tracy Robinson and I am the Preschool Teacher and
Part Time Director at Abounding Love Preschool.
My husband, Scott, and I have been married for almost 17
years. We have
been blessed with five beautiful children:
Katie (13), Megan (11 ½ ), Taylor (8 ½ ), Adam (7), &
Hayden Rose (3 ½ ).
Hayden Rose will be in the Pre-Kindergarten class at
Abounding Love and is very excited to have mommy right
across the hall (I anticipate regular visits!).
My family is truly the joy of my life.
I
have worked in early childhood development for the past 11
years. This is my 2nd
year with Abounding Love Preschool.
I was previously a Parent Educator for the Lee’s Summit R7
School District.
I have also taught developmental play classes at
Gymboree, ran a childcare from my home, and taught Sunday
School at Holy Spirit Parish.
I love working with young children and feel I learn
as much from them as they do from me.
I believe God has big plans for Abounding Love and feel very
fortunate to be a part of this ministry!
I look forward to getting to know your children and
helping them grow & learn in God’s love.

My name is Stacy Gordey.
I am so excited to be a part of
Abounding Love Preschool!
I can’t wait to meet
you and your families. We
will all be blessed to know and learn of God’s loving ways
together.
My husband Gary and I have been blessed with three amazing
children: Courtney,
Mercedes, and Brock.
Our girls are very serious about cheerleading and track!
As for Brock, well, he loves self defense Karate, football,
and baseball. Brock
was fortunate enough to be a part of this preschool for a
year, and loved every minute! He will be going off to
kindergarten in the fall!
The past six years I have spent a lot of time organizing
events, classes, and meetings for a youth program.
The rest of my time
is spent with my family. We
love being outdoors together.
When it rains, look
out kitchen! We are bakers - from cookies to cakes, to
mixing it up and trying new recipes.
We also love to make
hair bows and flip flops.
God has blessed our family time and time again. This time we
found Beautiful Savior and Abounding Love, with more and
more blessings just flowing in!
