Preschool Summer Camp 2018

Registration Form

June 4th-8th - Science Camp:

The purpose of our week of science is to spark, cultivate, and promote children’s interest in science and the scientific method. We hope to attract students to math and science, improve their performance in those subjects, increase appreciation for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and, ultimately, prepare students for future education in STEM subjects and learning!

June 25th-29th - Art Camp:

During our art appreciation camp, preschoolers will be exposed to famous works of art throughout history.  Campers will learn to discover, explore, and imagine in their own unique ways, experimenting with a variety of art materials and methods that encourage the development of creative thinking and problem solving skills. Campers will work together on a variety of fun projects and experience the joys of making art with old and new friends. Projects include painting, drawing, mixed-media, sculpture, printmaking, performance, digital art, and more.

July 16th-20th - Cooking Camp:

Learning to cook is a bit like learning to read. When you learn to read, you learn the letters first and then you start to put the letters together to form words. It is similar to this when you learn to cook. You first learn some basic skills that you can later put together to make meals. Cooking is not just about making something to eat; we will be practicing math (measuring, weighing, sharing); literacy (reading and writing down some notes about the recipes), and geography (learning about food and where it comes from) and much more.

July 23rd-27th - Summer Fun:

We will say “so long” to summer in this week full of summer fun activities. We will go “camping”, “boating”, “swimming”, and lots more to culminate a summer full of fun, learning, and friends. Students will get to experience lots of those summer bucket list experiences that full out a classic summer break. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled week!
