2 year olds

2 yr olds do not have to be potty trained but we do start working on potty training at about 2 1/2 to be able to move up.

In this classroom children will through lost of hands on activities working on sensory and motor skills. Children will be introduced to shapes, colors, letters, sharing, and learning to become independent.

3 year olds

3 yr olds are required to be potty trained, teachers are always there for assistance if needed.

3 yr olds will do more cognitive skills and practice making choices. At this age group, there is more art and music encouraging more individual expression. They are involved in learning about letters, math, writing, and about themselves.

Older 3 & 4 year olds

This age group must be fully potty trained, being able to go to the bathroom on their own.

In this classroom children will be be filled with learning activities that will help them grow socially, intellectually and physically. This age group will practice more learning of language development through group settings. They will practice phonics and writing at a more advanced level. Children will learn to count groups and patterns.

4 & 5 year olds

4 & 5 yr olds must be fully potty trained, being able to go to the bathroom independently.

Children are introduced to the structure of a classroom setting similar to a kindergarten classroom. Story time is followed by content questions encouraging language development and comprehension. Writing and phonics are practiced every day all day. In math, adding and subtracting are introduced. In science the children learn about animals life cycle through chick hatching in the classroom. They also learn about community and culture.
